N.E.R.D

Back in Borås, and SURPRISE, I am the first!

So now it is all about the reading for the exsams again... And nerdie me, I woke up early to go to school. Only to discover the school is like the rest of the world still on christmas vacation. Banging the doors didn't help either, so now I am in the kitchen with too much coffe for one person to handle.

JE.

Get a life, will ya?

just dance!

Sometimes you have to take a break from reality. Wear your fringe-dress and pearls, take a good friend by the hand, travel back to the 20'ies - and just dance!

working for the weekend

Does time always pass by this fast???

the julklapps!

If you feel like you are one of those who deserve a christmaspresent from me, dont't be surprised if you see some of these colours under the tree.
This year all presents from the Tina will either be produced by Tina herself, or bought second hand. Fair for the trade, and good for the environment :)
It's on! Tina aka Ms. Santa!!!

Fashionmarket Borås

In a town with so many creative young people the fashionmarket is a great place for them to "show off" and for us uncreative to be inspired. 3 whole days with fashionshows, stands, fynd and swopping (your trash - someone elses treasure. Good for you, even better for the planet!

Handmade clogs, clothes, jewlery, an eco-corner, and the best tomatosoup in town!

Since we had no goods of our own to sell, me and the girls helped out all weekend in fyndet, selling american apparel, pour, gul&blå, resteröds and and.....
See YOU there next year!

giving cred where the cred is due....

Mummy: Thank you so much for learning me the noble art of knitting.

BruTale: Thank you for learning me to knit the holes for the buttons.

The Girls at Strikk: Thank you for the inspiration and answers to all the (studpid) questions a knitter-beginner has.

God: Thank you for creating the world, a great place to knit!

these boots are made for walking...

....and that's just what they do... one of these days these boots are gonna walk all over you.....

Knitina

I think mum gives me too little credit for the amazing things I can do with two sticks and a little bit of "natur uld". Here you can see the ab-fab ME, both with the work in project, and the finished result.

I also just finished a very nice pannebånd (Mayka - you should do one too. Veeeery cool!!!), and have a new project in grey-melange, the colour I would choose if I had to live my whole life in just one colour.

I think mum, that instead of giving me tricks, you should give me treats. Notice the buttons that I even knitted holes for. Jeje. Peace out.

spikkesagelimebanke

No time for blogging when you are knitting like there's no tomorrow!

Have started the new trend here in Borås. Now we are all knitting away, making BEAUTIFUL homemade fake polos!! If you do something wrong, you can just say you allways intended it to be so.

And tomorrow I'm doing something I never thought I would. I am making an effort to improve the student-introduction week. Why, you ask? All to get a free meal at lunch. Classy.

you know you're sick when...

  • you'd rather (SINCERELY) bee in school
  • you cry to the Oprah Winfrey show
  • making noodel-soup feels like working out
  • you go to buy toiletpaper and come back with the new Sheryl Crow album
  • you find that TV-shop and Greys Anatomy has the same level of interest
  • your potatoes taste like banana and the fish taste like cinnamon
  • a call from a telemarketer makes your day because you actually got to TALK to someone

she bangs?

After realising my hair really is trying to go back to it's roots, I finally made an appointment with the hairdresser to get rid of them (read: the roots, in the hair, not the band. To get rid of the band would make such a mess. And they make good music, so why would we?)

Anyway, this means I have to decide on the bang-issue. Go for it, or go for midtskill and curtains? The curtains could have a nice kind of 70's feel to it if I wear them with that paisly-patterned dress that I do not own...

As you can see, after the whole examsperiod, I am back to the issues that REALLY matters in life.....

x marks the spot

Creativity taken to an other level at school. Hannah discovered her markers matches her thermos and her book.
One of those "you had to be there"...? Please rate funniness on a scale from 1-5 where 1 is "nerds" and 5 is "laughing my heart out".

overload

Is it possible that when it's full (your brain), and you put more things in it, something you've learned earlier is bound to fall out??

Like trying to pour more milk into a glass that is already full...
*Bound to make a mess*

The Tina

You MAY wonder what I spend my time doing here in Sweden, so let me give you a little update. On this first picture I am doing a comercial for Pizza Hut, eating a delicious slice to make you want it as well.

On this next picture I am hanging out with a Swedish Idol guy, interwieving him and ice-skating at the same time. Just your average day.
School is obviously not the only thing I have time for, I also manage to work on different projects on the side. Such as my modelling- and reporting-career.
If you don't believe me - talk to Christina in my class, who found theese lovely pictures of "me" in "Fredag"....

welding, the sequal

The very interresting book about welding will show you the "simple" principles of building a good old fashioned "brönn". Aka somewhere you can get your water if you live in a country where the industrial revolution has not yet accured.

I am most definetly not studying the welding-business, but I foud myself sitting in the department of technics engeneering in the liberary one day, and this book caught my eye. There is a lot you can do to get out of your actual business - the studying-.

Other tips on how to kill time by doing NOTHING of importance are surely to follow in the next week as my exsams are coming up soon!

tirsdag 14. oktober 2008

go buy this book NOW!

Sometimes when you're at the liberary studying your eyes wander... And today they landed on this marvellous book in bright purple and yellow. THE PRINCIPLES OF WELDING. Did they try to make it more fun using bright colours??

I bet it will be a real "kioskveltare" before christmas this year!

buried between the books

3 weeks until the exams. This is what my world will look like. Staring into the books at the library, trying too keep focused! But first, a weekend with syrran i Stockholm!!!

hangin' on the telephone

So mum left, and I am left behind.

All alone.

Thank God for Skype! Now I am just hanging around here, waiting for Mayka to call me.

You didn't forget our date in cyberspace, did you?????
